H5 Robot Lawn Mower: SmartMowBot's Pure-Vision Entry Class with No RTK Install

H5 sits at the entry step of the four model UNICUT range. One unit holds a 500 m squared envelope on pure vision navigation, with no RTK module on the unit and no base station to mount on the site. The platform ships plug and play and weighs 9.5 kg, the lightest in the line. The six cells below carry the platform spec sheet values verbatim.

What H5 is and who picks it

What H5 is and who picks it

Three buyer cohorts read this page. The definition below sets H5 at a single altitude; the chip row and the pill strip place H5 inside the UNICUT range with five platform spec values.

H5 is a single unit robot lawn mower platform sized for sites up to 500 m squared. The navigation stack is pure vision; the unit reads a stereo camera and an AI vision module without an RTK satellite module. Setup is plug and play, with no base station to mount on the roof or fence and no on site installer visit beyond the walk once boundary teach. Inside the UNICUT four model line, H5 is the entry step below H3, H3 PRO and H1.

Core features · What H5 carries

Five H5 capabilities and six shared UNICUT platform features

The top row carries the five capabilities that distinguish H5 inside the UNICUT range, led by pure vision navigation and the plug and play setup. The bottom strip carries the six platform features every UNICUT unit shares, with two inline links to the wire free page and to the GFLS deep dive that runs on H1, H3 and H3 PRO.

Pure vision navigation

H5 navigates on a pure vision stack. The unit reads a stereo camera and an AI vision module to hold position, follow virtual boundaries and avoid obstacles. There is no RTK module on the unit and no satellite base station on the site.

No RTK

Plug and play setup

H5 ships ready to run out of the box. The only setup step is the walk once boundary teach. There is no roof mount, no fence post bracket, no installer visit and no on site configuration past the app pairing.

No install

Entry coverage class

One H5 unit covers 500 m squared on a single schedule, the entry coverage step inside the UNICUT line. Below H3, H3 PRO and H1; same boundary teach, same app, same OTA path.

500 m²

Lightest platform weight

H5 weighs 9.5 kg, the lightest unit in the UNICUT line. A homeowner, a property manager or a courier can lift the unit out of a delivery carton and walk it to the dock without a second person on the kerb.

9.5 kg

Stereo camera on a pure-vision stack

The stereo camera reads obstacle depth across two image streams and feeds the H5 pure vision navigation stack. Bed line transitions, planter rims and walkway returns return a true distance value the cutting deck acts on.

Stereo

Shared UNICUT platform features (every SKU carries them)

No wire boundary

Boundary is taught by walking the lawn once with the unit. No perimeter wire means no buried loop, no trenching, and no cable splicing on bed line changes.

300 plus AI object classes

The vision system carries 300 plus trained object classes for obstacle avoidance. Dogs, hoses, sprinklers, garden tools and children all read as obstacles before the cutting deck arrives.

Rain detect and auto return

Rain detect triggers an auto return to the dock when the sensor reads moisture. Once the rain clears the unit resumes from the interrupt point and finishes the route.

OTA platform updates

Firmware lands over the air on every UNICUT unit. An H5 site stays on the same firmware path as a paired H1 site, so a four SKU programme runs on one platform behaviour.

App defined zones

The app holds virtual boundaries, no go areas, virtual walls, narrow corridor passes and multi job zones. The same map shape carries a townhouse, a courtyard and a small estate without re trenching anything.

GFLS navigation stack on the siblings

The GFLS navigation stack, which fuses RTK satellite positioning, VSLAM and AI vision, runs on H1, H3 and H3 PRO. H5 is the pure vision exception inside UNICUT. The GFLS deep-dive carries the full platform technology for the three sibling units.

Fit scenes · Where H5 carries the cut

Three entry lawn scenes where H5 carries the cut

The three scenes below are H5 entry class fits inside the 500 m squared envelope. Each scene leans on the plug and play setup or the lightest platform weight or both. Parcels past 500 m squared and the paired unit operations cadence live on the commercial robot lawn mower page.

H5 robot lawn mower on a townhouse common lawn parcel

Townhouse common lawn parcel

One H5 unit holds the townhouse common parcel on a single overnight or early morning route. The plug and play setup ships the unit straight to the residents lead without a base station mount on the roof, and the 59 dB noise envelope keeps the cadence inside the quiet hour window.

H5 single unit · ≤ 500 m²
H5 robot lawn mower on a boutique hospitality courtyard lawn

Boutique hospitality courtyard lawn

One H5 unit cuts the courtyard lawn at a boutique hotel or a guest house on a scheduled overnight slot. The pure vision stack reads planter rims, garden table legs and walkway returns without an RTK base on the courtyard wall, and the 9.5 kg unit lifts into a tool room between routes without two staff.

H5 single unit · ≤ 500 m²
H5 robot lawn mower on a small estate or entry HOA lawn

Small estate or entry HOA lawn strip

One H5 unit owns a small estate parcel or an entry HOA strip on a single schedule. The 35 percent slope rating holds short banks at the parcel edge, and the OTA firmware path keeps the unit on the same release as a paired flagship site so the property manager learns one platform.

H5 single unit · ≤ 500 m²

Put your brand on the H5 platform

H5 ships as a tooled pure vision entry platform a brand owner can take to market under their own badge. The OEM and ODM track covers integral changes such as enclosure, controller firmware and the plug and play setup flow; the private label track covers a faster on ramp where the platform stays as built and the brand sits on the unit and the box. Both tracks live on their own page, with the engagement depth, the timeline shape and the inquiry path.
